Preparing for the ACT
The place of new beginnings in learning  and confidence

The Total Learning Clinic will be offering workshops to prepare students for the ACT through Professional and Community Learning at the Columbia Area Career Center

This 12-hour Workshop will cover the following topics:

• The English Test
• The Math Test
• Keys for doing your best on the ACT
• The Reading Test
• The Science Test

The requirement for the workshop is the completion of the 2011-2012 Preparing for the ACT Assessment booket (which is available at a high school guidance office).

Dates for the workshops:

• Before the February 11, 2012 ACT Test
  • Saturday, January 21, 2012 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, January 28, 2012 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, February 4, 2012 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

• Before the April 14, 2012 ACT Test
  • Saturday, March 10, 2011 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, March 17, 2012 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, April 7, 2012 - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
    
    
    

Fee: $109 per class

Each individual must register for the ACT either online at: www.actstudent.org, or by completing the registation form available from a high school guidance office. There is a limit of 17 students per workshop.
